Blackarachnia

Ahh, Beast Machines is already becoming nostalgic. The spider lady is the only action figure I own from that line, so it was only fitting that I drew her. This was an illustration for a collaborative "handbook" brainstormed by a bunch of Trans-fans who then lost interest in the project. I guess they didn't miss Beast Machines all that much.

Vig's Angels

My circle of friends adopted the Yu-Gi-Oh craze for a short while, so I started getting creative with it by making my own cards. Bluette, Celest, and Centura are nothing short of broken! (Not really; I actually have a hard time playing with them.) One funny thing about this children's card game played by adults is the lack of halos and boobs in the American card art. I, however, have no such qualms.

Destiny. How is it defined? Is there a predetermined cosmic outline that dictates how we all must live? If so, what is the meaning of an existence that is foretold, especially one led by never-ending anguish? Does the human mind and spirit have the power to overcome what seemingly must be? Would defying the laws of nature warrant a more truly fulfilling life?

I hate Secret Santas with the in-laws where the "ideal gift should be in the $50 range." Don't you know that the best gifts are homemade? After drawing my step-sister-in-law's name, I drew a picture of her horse. Take that, bastard kitchen appliances!
