To enter Community Dragon World, click on the map image, and you will be transported directly to that location. Explore the land freely and meet its inhabitants via your bird navigator. To fly him, click the mouse button. The farther away from the center of the screen you click, the faster your bird flies. Mousing over a dragon reveals its name, and clicking on it reveals its birthday and words of wisdom.
To create a dragon of your own, adjust the nine color gauges and three opacity gauges, give your dragon a name and message, then click "Add Your Dragon!" There is no telling where in the world your dragon will appear, and they are always on the move. Have fun seeking yours or summon it personally.
Community Dragon World can hold an unlimited number of dragons. The dragons grow over time and reach full size in about six years. They also breathe fire and play with beach balls! Younger dragons are currently dominating the skies; the older ones are hidden. You can reveal more dragons at the cost of slower processor speed by adjusting the slider on the design screen. If you have an older dragon and wish to keep the skies sparse, you can always summon it.
The following menu items are available in world view.
- ROSTER: View every single dragon existing in Dragon World in guestbook format.
- OPTIONS: Memory adjustments.
- Summoning a Dragon: Type your dragon's name in the Summon box, hit [enter], and it will fly onto the screen. Flight mode will automatically enable, so you can follow your dragon. If the dragon that appears is not yours, it has the same name as the one you want, so try summoning again to find yours.
- Crowd Control: Lots of dragons on the screen means lots of fighting and lots of lag! This number represents the maximum number of dragons allowed on the screen at a time.
- Flight Mode: Press this to summon the dragon whose name appears in the Summon box, and follow it as it flies around.
- Steer Mode: By pressing this, your summoned dragon replaces the bird as your pointer. Dragging the mouse quickly then releasing it will cause your dragon to fly nonstop.
- Press the [F] key in Flight Mode or Steer Mode to breathe fire, or press [shift][F] at any time to taunt a random dragon on screen. Holding these keys results in total chaos!
- BACK returns you to the dragon design screen. Join the party if you haven't yet!
